The MMI Transition From The U.S. Military
On behalf of all the employees and students of MMI and their families, we thank you for your service to our country and we fully appreciate that our freedom as a nation results from the service and sacrifice of America's finest. Thank you.
If you're currently transitioning to civilian life or if you've recently transitioned out and been disappointed by your opportunities in civilian life, a career as a technician in the motorcycle industry may be the right opportunity for you. MMI and industry employers stand ready to make it easy for military personnel to get started on a rewarding career in a booming industry.
Why Motorcycles May Be Right For YouWe know what you know and what you can accomplish. - A true career path in an industry that is an essential part of the American economy.
- A choice of working in a variety of fields from Motorcycle Engines to Harley-Davidson® Repair to many other areas.
- While no school can guarantee employment, a high percentage of MMI graduates find jobs working in the industry.
- Jobs in the motorcycle technician industry can't be out-sourced overseas.
- Most programs can be completed in 15 months or less.
- Top technicians in industry dealerships earn in excess of $100,000 each year.
Why MMI May Be The Right Place For You Many of our instructors are former military, as are many of our students. You won't find many former officers among our ranks . . . just men and women who worked for a living like yourself. Visit one of our campuses soon and ask to speak to former military personnel who can talk about the benefits of MMI. But be careful . . . a line may form.
We're famililiar with your situation. You're transitioning away from subsidized food, housing and insurance for your family and you need to make the most of your GI Bill benefits without wasting time. Our Student Support Services team stands ready to help you and your family find living accomodations and employment while you're in school. We can sometimes even find employment for spouses too, depending on your situation.
MMI Is Here To Help You.MMI will help you and your family make the move into civilian life as smoothly as possible. We offer a 15% discount to qualified military personnel. Dedicated military admissions representatives, trained specifically to work with personnel transitioning from all branches of the armed forces, will assist you at each step as you shift from military service into the technician training program that will get you started on an exciting career.
As a veteran of military service, you’re entitled to the GI Bill and other educational benefits through the VA.
